La Rambling around

Michael Tonello's various aliases, where he seems to comment to himself online, give us a headache.

Like this one, on StyleForum.net.

Scroll down and see where HermesGuy is talking about something ... his photobucket account is registered to - surprise! LaRambla17, which is also where Michael Tonello lives in Barcelona. And his YouTube name. Look it up - it's all public. He has a dandy little video of himself cooking under the LaRambla17 nickl. So ... gots to be him, ya?

So he's at least HermesGuy, advent, and centralparkwest on StyleForum. We think all of those IDs have shilled his book. Guess it can't sell itself.

See for yourself:

Then, if you want a cooking lesson, check out his YouTube video.

We just love the writing. Especially the use of "whom has become". Say what? His book was a tough slog, but did someone ghost write that, badly written as it is? Someone who actually knows grammar?

And spelling, too.

I watched a couple minutes of the Youtube vid. What came across to me was a very nerdy man lacking in any charisma, which is not surprising. Can you imagine a buff, good looking, well educated man playing the silly, girly games that he plays online.

But he sure has a smarty mouth on him, doesn't he. He is the poster boy for the word "loser".

That was a truly awful video. Bad lighting, awful props and a truly mediocre 'chef' with a whiny voice and no personality. What was he trying to do, get a slot on the Food Network?

@5:47 If that is the case, I fear for the Food Network's personalities. Imagine the potential for blogs that accuse them of scamming recipes, using counterfeit Kitchen Aid mixers and brandishing wooden spoons bought from resellers! The horror!!!

what did MT do for a living before he became a reseller?

I watched Michael Tonello's cooking videos and boy, were they painful to watch. He must be living in a dingy little apartment judging by the size and state of his kitchen!

No wonder he wants to be associated with Donna, to make use of her, to go in public, to go to H stores to pretend that he is rich. I wonder what MT does with the photos that he has taken with and of Donna. Donna should check if MT has a secret blog that he showcases his pretentious life to publishers. Can't Donna see that MT is using her? She must be so lonely. Banding together because both of you were banned from tpf? Bad mistake. Donna's life will fall apart when her husband finds out the evil things she has been doing. She has no conscience.

@10:05am - By his own admission, Mikey was a hairdresser and make-up artist before writing his book. Amazing how he mocks a certain tPFer who is a hairdresser, isn't it?

What I'd love to know is what that TEAM thing is that he goes on about.

His current occupation would be most accurately described as "freeloader."
