LuxeGuru = Michael Tonello = purseforumadvisory.blogspot.com

Equals the person who keeps promoting purseforumadvisory, purseforumlies, purseforumconfidential.

Equals the person who made some poor kid's life miserable on the GQ forums - where LuxeGuru (now reconfortante) quite happily admitted to being Michael Tonello. Who also posts as advent on StyleForum.net, where he shills his own book.

Still believe Michael Tonello isn't behind PFA?

Ah, yes, LuxeGuru, later reconfortante. He thought he could change his name and the trial would go cold. Little did he know that the two names would always be connected.

Here is another thread where Luxe/reconfortante takes on jason85 again.

If there is any doubt that Michael Tonello is reconfortante/LuxeGuru, just have a look around the web for Peter Nitz. Peter made a BESPOKE BESPOKE BESPOKE bag for Michael, and Michael cannot stop talking about it or posting pictures of it. It manages to appear in every forum he has been a part of...

And, if any more proof is needed that reconfortante is Michael Tonello, here he is in his own words...a post by reconfortante introducing himself...

I grew up in Massachusetts, amidst the windswept dunes and ever-encroaching tourism of Cape Cod. I attended New York City's Fordham University for almost a full day, before beginning an ambitious field study of New York socialites in their native nightlife habitats.
A few months later, armed with a vast array of discotheque expertise,(but no longer possessed of parental financial support), I made my way out to San Francisco. The West coast would be my home for five years, and the start of my career in hair and makeup. Eventually co-founding a successful company -- an innovative advertising collaborative called TEAM -- I returned to my native Massachusetts, settling into the artists' colony of Provincetown. But a chance job
assignment in Spain would prove fateful, and I went from P-townie to expatriate in a flash, resettling in Barcelona. Pressed to find a profession that didn't necessitate working papers, I turned in my make-up bag for a laptop. Quickly finding my niche as an eBay luxury
reseller, I soon after began my lucrative relationship with all things Hermes.
My Bestselling memoir, Bringing Home the Birkin, was published in May of 2008 by HarperCollins, and is now published in nine languages worldwide. The film rights to the book were optioned and a screenplay is in development now.

Its very easy on GQ to connect the dots and match LuxeGuru to reconfortante. Be sure to use All for the date search criteria.

you can see the message from Jason85 here:

This is where he copied posts from the two threads from where Michael derived his hit list..the Bringing Home the thread, and the seller won4the$ thread. Because of Michael Tonello and Donna Lehtonen repeatedly attacked posters in these threads, they have been removed (I assume this is the reason) But you can get the gist of it there.

Michael Tonello/LuxeGuru/reconfortante replies, and links to some complaints....which were written by him.

He is just a vile human being.

Michael Tonello comments on his own Bringing Home the Birkin interview videos all over the internet. He uses so many different nicks and even falsely claimed the everyone loves his book at the Purse Forum.

A good fella like Peter should not be mixed around with Michael Tonello. It's not so simple. Peter is loved by many. Michael is no where close. Michael wants to ride on Peter's coat tail.

Everyone should take a close look at all the forum nicks and names of the blogs that Michael Tonello & Donna Lehtonen had used.

They have a chronic fixation. A hatred that has consumed them.

I found it interesting that they are so against resellers....but there is a link to CDL at the bottom of the page. Also - she is the only re-seller that they mention more than once with positive comments. Since writing this the post on another thread the link is now on the side of the page, even more visible. Could this all be a publicity stunt to drive hits to CDL's website. Blogs are great for search engines and don't filter negative from positive. Fact is there are lots of links to her on that blog!!!!! Also, she has been attacked on tpf for prices and personality (or lack of).

I don't think CDL needs a blog to support her successful business. For some reason, Michael Tonello likes CDL and supports her and it doesn't make any sense because he claims to hate resellers, but he is one, but like I said, doesn't make any sense. Crazy rarely does. He hates resellers, so he hates himself.

^^I think there is a clear connection between tpf and cdl she is mentioned many times and there is a link. She needs publicity as do all sellers. Also backlinks help her google rank.

CDL was supplied with Hermes Birkins in early years. In his book he refers to her as Sarah which isn't her name.
I wonder if she shared information with him about her buyers, have suspicions about this.

At first look, I almost fell for all of the MT denials on PFA ("this isn't my site, 4 reals!"). But then I looked at some of the more recent posts about Grands Fonds and other H subforum nonsense from a million years ago. I'm a relatively new member of TPF, so this all went over my head, and seemed to be grasping at straws. Plus, I wasn't 100% sold on the fact that every TPF reveal was a scam to get buyers, you know?

Then I came back here and read more, and the more reasonable the arguments became... and the more TPFA left a bad taste in my mouth. I wanted to ask a question over there in the comments about something, and was honestly terrified of being attacked and called the "C" word!

Anyway, thanks for the info, PFAE :) I will keep reading...

The false accusation that EVERY Purse Forum reveal is a scam is with malicious intent. If Purse Forum Advisory is for the good of the internet, it will serve to alert unsuspecting members to be careful. Not to be so trusting etc but all in good faith. Hello? Where is the good faith? What goodness oozes out of that blog? It attacks members of the Purse Forum whom they have never met in their lives!

Success breeds its own problems. Purse Forum is well-known to bag addicts. It where people go when they walk to talk about bags. So it attracts all sorts, including scammers. How do you expect the owners and mods to have eyes everywhere? To say that they are all in cahoots and want to scam people, that's too far fetched. Only Purse Forum Advisory can spew that sort of venom. For what? PERSONAL VEDEDETTA for being banned on the Purse Forum. Normal people would just walk away and swear never to return. But not for Michael Tonello and Donna Lehtonen.

Not only do they call out members' reveals as fakes, they also accuse members whose brand new bags straight out of their H stores (of course the protective film is still on the bag) are not for themselves, but to be resold. Just because you're not offered the rare bags, Donna Lehtonen, doesn't mean the members' bags aren't authentic. If your store likes you enough, you'd have been given first dibs. Get it?
