Guess who spends more time on PF than anyone else?

We're feeling generous - the first two guesses don't count.

If you said Michael Tonello and Donna Lehtonen, you win! For two people who have nothing but disparaging things to say, they sure do spend a lot of time there. Rummaging through old threads. Being nasty about people (strangers, we would like to reiterate yet again). Busy, busy, busy. On PF and then rummaging around for rubbish photos and creating rubbish posts on their blog.

We think it's kind of funny. They keep saying they hate PF. It's an awful place, they say, over and over. They hate the people there. And yet ... they can't stay away. Adding to the hit count for the owners, and adding to the ad dollars, too. Nice work, Donna and Michael!

Is it that you haven't yet convinced yourselves that you don't like the site and its denizens? Do you need to sneak back every day under multiple IDs (also increasing the membership, we might add, and we know that bigger member numbers mean bigger ad dollars, so keep those fake memberships going, all of you bitter banned PFers!) just to convince yourselves how awful it is?

Imagine the scenario this way: You eat at a restaurant that makes you ill, or whose food you don't like. But you go back every day, for multiple meals - just to make really sure the food is as bad as you thought on first taste.

A bit dim, aren't you, Michael and Donna? Unless, of course, you really, really do like PF and just can't stay away.

This has always been the truth about Michael and Donna. They are the most avid fans of PF, even though they don't realize it.

One thing for sure, is that they are such sour grapes for being banned from a BAG forum (let me emphasize this ... IT IS A BAG FORUM) that they want to spoil it for others. And they make up cock and bull stories to humiliate the innocent members.

The world should know about these 2 criminals. Cyberstalking and cyberbullying IS criminal.

More and more, I feel like I got out of tpf Hermes Cesspool, unscathed, just in the nick of time.

When I joined tpf, a good few years back, I did so to get an education about Hermes - away from the boutique. Lurking more than posting, I learned a lot. Enough I felt to make my first of many purchases. What I always found incredible, is that unlike the "mythical, magical" world associated with "scoring" a birkin, I never had a problem. I simply walked into my local boutique, inquired, and was shown a few choices. Viola.

I really did enjoy the brand, scarves, SLG, clothes and accessories. I developed a great relationship with the SM, and all was well.

Then the cracks started to show. Members who seemingly could do no wrong, began to get caught up in scandal/drama (Japster, Jean from the luxury portal/ Docride. Then, the establishment, DQ, , Xiao-Xiao, Mooks, et al, started to drop-off, replaced more and more by idiots asking and posting the stupidest questions and blathering on about the dumbest points/issues about their bags. (My favorites were always the whole "what about airline security and carry-on bags stupidity. Morons, they're handbags and this is the world of security, and if you have to put the overpriced piece of crap that you ate ramen for a year to afford on a conveyor belt for x-ray, then deal with it!)

It had totally "jumped the shark" for me at this point, then the PFA came along.....and well, let's just say all of my suspicions were confirmed. TPF is a total scam. Whether it was intended as so in the first place, is up for debate; it didn't seem so. Now it's just a toxic wasteland for shopaholic freak posers and the scum who prey on them.

Ironically, the forum that brought me to hermes, sent me running away and selling off my "collection" faster than you can say "saddle stitch". I do have to give tpf some credit, every item sold at a tidy profit. My items were constantly posted to dilute their purpose of pushing their own/cohorts items.

I still lurk, happily knowing the ugly truth and watching the implosion of tpf calmly from the sidelines. And perhaps, you may see me soon with my gorgeous (fraction of the cost) superfake birkin. The education for which I got from none other than, yep, tpf. I know, I know, fakes are only acceptable as "travel jewelry" but if the only ones who can tell the difference are a bunch of magnifying glass carrying cows, I'll know just who you are, and will gladly give you the secret tpf wink. (smiley faces hugging!)

duchess from Effen Haute::

Niloticus is a smaller crocodile, found in Zimbabwe and other African locations. They can't be easily and successfully farmed. They rarely get the opportunity to reach a large scale as the risk of scar inducing interaction with other crocodiles is great. Niloticus skins are seldom found in bags over 30cm. Porosus is a farmed salt water species and because they can be farmed and separated they can be allowed to grow larger without risk of being scarred in confrontations with other crocodiles. Porosus crocodile skins are the largest and produce the bags that are 35cm and over.

I like the proportions of the larger skins of porosus, on a smaller bag. It looks less squeezed in to my eye.

I can understand that Hermes would prefer to use large skins on large bags, rather than squander them on small bags and have more wastage.

I decided to accept a porosus croc Birkin in a 35cm, if that would be preferable, and acceptable to Hermes. I hope I receive it one day; but if not? I'll live.
xxxxx, I did get to choose the colour, and Rouge Hermes in the matte finish porosus skin, is the ultimate in my opinion. It also has to have gold hardware.
I don't know why they made it for me in nile croc.

Re: Hypothetical Question: If You Can Only Afford One Croc Birkin....
I chose a 30cm Birkin in Rouge H, Matte, Niloticus Croc , GHW, strictly
as a casual, daytime bag. I would prefer if it were semi matte. Does H do semi matte, nilo croc?

I have a glazed Porosus Croc, 28cm Kelly, Graphite, PHW, coming in the next few months;a SO placed last August!

I feel the Birkin is a daytime, sporty bag so matte, or semi matte croc is more appropriate for me.

Great post! Donna's post on Effen Haute complaining that she can't stalk on TPF while traveling in China is more proof of your points !

Poor Michael. Obsessed with saddle stitching vs. machine stitching. NO ONE FREAKING CARES! hahahahhahhaha.

People buy Hermes because they love the bags and if parts of them are machine stitched then so be it.

Michael doesn't really care about any of this. He is just wasting his life making any kind of accusation he can about PF.

Typical sociopath. He doesn't even own any Hermes bags! He hates Hermes and it is so obvious.

He abused his reselling ability until they busted him and now that the party is over he is trying to bring them down.

Good luck with that. One man battle against PF and Hermes! Go for it.

Michael, you don't stand a chance.

"When I joined tpf, a good few years back, I did so to get an education about Hermes - away from the boutique. Lurking more than posting, I learned a lot. Enough I felt to make my first of many purchases. "

Tpf only started in 2005/6. And that's also when membership grew slowly and then by leaps and bounds. It earned a reputation for being a credible forum where people from all over the world could talk about bags.

So you benefitted from the forum. Instead of being appreciative, and giving back by contributing and sharing knowledge, you are now out there dissing it and trying to cause damage. Ingrate.

Worse, you think you're THE expert and no one else is. By the way, many ladies on the forum didn't call themselves experts. The other forummers thought they were. YOU call yourself THE EXPERT. See who's the conceited one.

"Now it's just a toxic wasteland for shopaholic freak posers and the scum who prey on them"

Funny that Donna Lehtonen would think this. She tried so many times to show her bags (they were so few) and people ignored her. Yet, she can come out and say women who share on a forum (of course you share on a forum, duh) are shopaholics and are freak posers. Who's the pot here?

OMG! Go get your facts right.

There are loads of Nilo croc farms in Zimbabwe!

"Niloticus skins are seldom found in bags over 30cm. "

- Wrong again.

Don't try too hard to build yourself a reputation for being an expert. It's not working.

Guess the husband said no more Hermes for you. So you have to resort to fakes (a fake is a fake). So you want to carry a fake. Go ahead. No one cares.

Well Docride, you may remember us PM'ing each other on TPF and you asked me for my address in order to mail me a catalogue of custom made cowboy boots.
I thought you were on the level and sent you my address.
You then promptly contacted me and told me to look online, and there was no reason to mail me anything.
Nice move, to get my address.

I also spoke at length with Pierre at the Madison boutique, and told him what you were recommending for use on Hermes bags. he was horrified and cautioned me to NEVER treat my bags, or use Black Rock, or Obenauffs.

You also told me you don't even own a horse, but you act as if you are home, home on the range.

I also wonder why you start so many threads asking for photos, yet don't first post photos yourself?

and why do Vlad and Megs give you so much unbridled freedom to present yourself as an expert in leather restoration and stitching?

I hear Claude is retiring from Hermes, so maybe you could apply to fill his position.

Donna, You are a nasty piece of trash! What business is it of yours. You sound like a dictator. What a BITCH! Why didn't you stay in China on and with your junk. I wish you would disappear forever.

I think anyone looking for a fake would have a better chance on TPF or PFA. MT is misleading the public once again.

Poor delusional Donna. Posting on PFA from Tiananmen Square accusing docride of plotting to get her address. Donna has conveniently forgotten that she posted her own address all over the web & also allowed Michael Stalkello to use it too.

Hermes Evergraine Is Mmm Mmm Good!
This threads title, was suggested by the funniest man on the Hermes forum!
He always gets me laughing, and I love his quick wit and great sense of humour.
Thank you Castorny. You are a great asset to this forum.

I had just returned home after running errands and attending a meeting. I was starving and looking forward to relaxing and reading the bag full of magazines I had just purchased.

I had a slice of pizza, and a Campbell's "Soup at Hand" (Garden Tomato) on a plate in one hand, together with the bag of magazines. In my other hand was my Birkin, and a moulding catalogue.

The scaldingly hot cup of tomato soup, fell off of my plate and spilled all over my Birkin!
I dropped everything and ran to get a towel.
I wiped off my Birkin expecting a disaster, and was amazed to see that there was absolutely no damage!!!
I can't see the slightest trace of evidence that my Birkin had come in contact with anything liquid. This was extremely hot soup!!!!

I can't say enough good things about Evergraine. It is an amazing leather!
It has an iridescent, luminous glow. Scratches really do disappear when you rub your fingers over them.

I had to tell Castorny. He wants to hear anything about Evergraine, and this was one more reason to love it.
I was not in the greatest mood;but his reply, made me burst out laughing!
"Evergraine is mmm, mmm, good"!

Castorny, you brightened my day again!
Thank You Friend!

The scam and lies are from PFA. They create lies about people to humiliate them. They feel they are superior to all others when they are in reality lying inferior TRASH!
Nice try duchess, your husband won't let you keep up with those that have and never ever posted they did, only you posted all about your rich husband. It looks like he's not the most generous, knows what he's stuck with, garbage for a wife.

One would have to be totally gullible and stupid to believe the crap that is posted on PFA. The truth always prevails. If whatever is posted is to be believed, then you must believe that it's Donna Lehtonen and Michael Tonello's *playground* And if you must truly believe that these 2 characters are well liked and adored. Don't cherry pick what you believe in and what you don't.

MT & DL is against tpf. They will pick on anyone that they will create lies about. So in that sense, you know they are all about trash talk.

Most people would have the brain cells to decipher truth from tales. If you can't, just too bad.

No comments about docride. Don't know her and have never dealt with her.

As for Michael Tonello, he flipped the birkins he acquired very quickly (remember, by his own admission, he had to use several credit cards to make a purchase) as he needed cash to clear his debt on his cards. I don't see how someone like him knows anything intricate about Hermes. His book did not even reveal any of that knowledge nor appreciation of the brand. Bags were his transactions. They were just GOODS to him. Nothing more.

And why is he back on tpf everyday? To read up information about Hermes, and go to other forums to boast of himself as THE EXPERT.

MT and Donna are back on TPF to dig up more members and post a thinly disguised reflection on character or reputation on a PFA post! It's their specialty.
They couldn't care less about Hermes. Donna's husband has her on a short leash and MT lost his Hermes meal ticket ripping of buyers on double the (retail) price bags.

Anonymous said...

Michael has very limited knowledge of Hermes. "Expert", please. He just bought and sold as a broker. No expert knowledge there.

Anonymous said...

Docride is a leather restoration expert. Michael Tonello is a nobody. He knows nothing about Hermes or any other leather handbags. Don't let him fool you.

The only part of a Kelly or Birkin that is not hand stitched is the interior zippered pocket, which has always been the case. Michael has proven once again that he knows absolutely nothing about Hermes.
