Mirror, Mirror

We want to say we're sorry for Michael Tonello. Sorry if he doesn't like seeing what he's written laid out here. All those alters, all those interesting comments he's made over the years. He's saying he doesn't think what's being written is the truth but ... all we've done is hold up a mirror. So again using TonelloLogic (which, frankly, is like saying jumbo shrimp), is he REALLY saying he DIDN'T mean all the things he's written? Because if what he's said as luxeguru and advent etc. is untrue, then what he is so vehemently insisting upon at PFA must also be untrue, by the application of TonelloLogic. So he DIDN'T post his own comments shilling his own book? Didn't post as other people on StyleForum.net and GQ.com and elsewhere?

It's all quite a puzzle. Reading Michael Tonello's work on PFA should carry a warning: caution - may be headache inducing.

But then, nothing is quite as it seems at PFA because they seem to be using a rather distorting fun house mirror.

Michael Tonello says you can't authenticate a bag from photos. But then proceeds to pick out photos of bags he says are fake so he can mock their owners. Seems he's an expert on all sorts of brands now. All those paid authenticating services had better watch out!

Michael Tonello says an entire site is bad because it has a few posters he doesn't like or suspects of (yawn) nefarious doings! (Can we all chip in and buy him a thesaurus and a book on common English usage?) Remind us again - we believe he is shown as no longer a registered user on Ebay, where he sold his little trinkets as won4the$. So maybe he has personal experience with this theory after all.

Michael Tonello (aka Chicken Little) says beware! Sites are full of scams! He is really only looking out for you - there are nefarious scams EVERYWHERE. You just need to use common sense, which is in very short supply over at PFA.

Michael Tonello feels he has the right to say whatever he wants about people. People he's never met, by the way. Why is that? And is turnabout fair play?

So we say buyer beware. And nowhere is that more important than when you are reading what is being dished out on PFA, or what Michael Tonello is writing online. Because one day he'll tell you it's the truth. And the next ...

Michael Tonello and Donna Lehtonen have no shame. Anyone who googles for these 2 names will find not ankle-high depth of dirt by waist-height depth. Not to mention, connecting the dots of all their various handles on LOADS of forums will sink them even deeper. Going back to harassing your victims again, MT & DL? The only thing you're succeeding in doing is reaffirming to the world that both of you are serious basket cases. More dirt points.

Every time you write out MT's name you give him google points for his search ranking.

The truth hurts . . .

Michael should be ashamed of himself. I am shocked by how much time he has on his hands to bother with people he does not know. Is this a new kind of on-line insanity?

Michael is a very jealous man. Jealous of youth. Jealous of wealth. Jealous of beauty. Jealous of success. Jealous of happiness. He must not have anything in his life to be so cruel.

@11:32: I think it is OK and actually beneficial if we mention his full name here because that way this blog and the truth about him will show up in Google results. I am not sure what your concern is because the results you are referring to are for searches for "Michael Tonello" so of course references to his name found online will show up.

I would rather this blog be what showsmup rather than info about his book, etc.

Yes, this is correct. The more times you write Michael Tonello on this blog, the higher on the search rankings this blog will appear when someone googles "Michael Tonello".

So keep on mentioning Michael Tonello's name. That way the rest of the world can find out what he does!

I once saw a comment online shortly after his crappy book was released from someone who went to school with Tonello - which basically said he has always longed to be a wealthy, female socialite, and this Hermes business was the closest he could get to living out his dream. It made me laugh my ass off. Sadly the comment was removed shortly afterwards....perhaps it was too close to home for him?

Michael Tonello can have his dreams. Just go and seek out your dream and make it a reality. By anyone's standards, that would be "achieving" something. MT gets no wealth with his hateful blog that attacks people he doesn't even know. Because he is not actually doing anything that can be turned into cash. Instead, it makes the world have a view what a low life he is. And then what? Still no money. Donna isn't going to give MT her money, is she?

About search rankings....it's a very complicated thing. Please read this article to explain why we should NOT write MT's name out:

to illustrate my above point here is a quote from MT on his blog!: (p.s. note to tpfae: You're shilling my book too!)

Correction: we should write out Michael Tonello's name in full. The links to his blogs and also PFA are in the search results. So is PFAE. Fairness. Readers can read everything and make up their own minds.

Does not work that way - most people don't actually look at results. belive me - you are doing him a favor writing his name out. It looks like my pleas are falling to deaf ears. Please wake up and stop helping his stupid book! did you read the above link? People write horrible things about that vendor and it just bossts his search ranking and sales!

@ 5/11 - 5:47: Yes you are correct. We need to use his name here. My SO is involved in SEO at work and based on what we are trying to accomplish, he agrees.

Michael Tonello's search rankings have always been up there. So they can't erm, can't go any higher. Nothing more to boost.

Book sales ... well, if readers are interested to buy his book, they can by all means buy them. I doubt people here are evil to wish that his book sales suffer. It's his deplorable Dr Hyde personality cyberbullying people that the world needs to know of this dangerous man. No one should ever do online business with him because you never know how he would turn that personal information (name, address, email and credit card details) to bad use.
